Multiple drugs seized, four arrested

Members of the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit, the Emergency Services Unit and Patrol officers attended to a downtown apartment unit and executed a warrant on February 4.

The search resulted in the seizure of marijuana, cocaine, oxycodone, methylphenidate and brass knuckles.

43-year-old Brent Simpson of Adrian Drive was charged with possession of a narcotic, 25-year-old Natasha Baxter of Fauquier Street was charged with possession of a narcotic, and 20-year-old Mikayla Vincent of Hughes Street was charged with possession of a narcotic.

45-year-old Michael Folgora of Queen Street West was charged with three counts of possession of a narcotic, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a narcotic and one count of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

All four will be appearing in Provincial Court on March 9.
