POLICE SERVICE

Today is the last day of school for many of the children in our community.

As they begin the holiday season break, children may not pay as much attention to safety as they should.

Motorists should be extra cautious and keep any eye out for children playing near roadways.

Know where your children are going and who they are with.

If they are spending time on the computer, ensure you know what they are doing and who they are contacting.

While enjoying the snow, make sure children are never left unattended.

Snow banks can provide great sliding hills, forts, and tunnels however are often close to roadways and traffic and can collapse at any moment.

On behalf of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service enjoy the holidays and above all be safe.

Our children’s safety is paramount.
