The Wellington Street West road closure (North Street westerly and east of John Street at the railway tracks) scheduled for today has been cancelled.

This road closure has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 18, weather permitting.

The closure is necessary in order for the Public Works and Transportation Department to perform a railway crossing repair.

Wellington Street West will be closed to throughway traffic at North Street westerly and east of John Street at the railway tracks for a period of one day, beginning at 7 a.m., Wednesday, December 17.

The closure is necessary in order for the Public Works and Transportation Department to perform a railway crossing repair.

The City of Sault Ste Marie thanks citizens for their patience during the road closure period.
