Wondering why the North Pole Express sold out so fast?

CAPT is pleased to be partnering with Searchmont and the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library to organize the Searchmont North Pole Express again this year. 

We realize that many people were not able to purchase tickets as they were sold out so quickly.

CAPT wishes to clarify the limiting factors with regard to this year’s Searchmont North Pole Express. 

We did not intend to criticize the railway as it did tell the organizing committee, that it could run as many events as it wanted, with 90 seats available every Thursday/Saturday and Monday. 

However, the organizing committee decided that it could only hold the event on 2 days this year because of the constraints of limited volunteers and resources of our sponsors.

Hopefully with a third party operator running the passenger train next year we should be able to run multiples of this event and accommodate hundreds of people who want to take part. 

This shows the tremendous potential for increasing ridership on the train.

We recognize that there is a huge demand for this type of train experience.

So keep up your support for the efforts to save the ACR passenger train!
