Male charged with sexual assault of a youth

A 53-year-old male was arrested by city police detectives on November 25 and charged with 4 separate sexual offences.

It is alleged the accused invited, exploited and assaulted a young female under the age of 14 years in a sexual manner between 1986 and 1998.

The accused has been charged with sexual interference, sexual exploitation, invitation to sexual touching and sexual assault.

He will be appearing in Provincial Court on December 29.
