'Fabulous show' coming to Essar Centre

The 2014 Holiday Festival on Ice tour is coming to the Essar Centre on Sunday, December 7.

The event will feature Canada’s biggest Olympic stars including 2014 Olympic Silver Medalists Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir and 2014 Olympic Silver Medalist, Patrick Chan.

They will be joined by four-time world champion, Kurt Browning; Olympic Medalist, Gabrielle Daleman; and Olympic Medalist and World Champion, Jeffrey Buttle, as well as other world and national champions. Additional performers to be announced closer to the event date.

This all-star cast will perform holiday-themed routines as part of their program.

A view of the champions from ice surface seating will be available to purchase, allowing you a once in a lifetime up close and personal experience.

“We are extremely excited to have this fabulous show and renowned skaters coming to the Essar Centre – we are the only stop in Northern Ontario,” says Nick Apostle, Commissioner, Community Services Department.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 4 and are priced from $55 plus applicable fees per ticket.
