ECHO BAY, ON – October 22, 2014 – Boys and girls of every age, wouldn’t you like to see something strange?
 
On Saturday October 25, 2014, come to the Laird Fairgrounds and you will see, this our event, for Halloween.
 
An evening where something spooky will be taking over the Fairgrounds, and tricks and treats will abound!
 
Ghosts and ghouls, enter our maze if you dare, but, prepare to be scared!
 
The North Shore Agricultural Society invites individuals of all ages to its 1st Annual Haunted Maze.
 
Running from 4-5 p.m. in the Gazebo on the Fairgrounds, individuals are invited to dress-up and come out for a fun and spooky evening.
 
Entry is by donation and/or a canned good.
 
A Pasta and Meatball Dinner will follow at the Bar River Hall from 5-7 p.m.
 
There will be a costume contest, spooky Halloween games and pumpkin-made desserts to enjoy.
 
Price is $10/person over 10 years of age, and $30 for a family of 4. Children under 10 are free with a paying adult.
 
Volunteers are also needed to help ensure this event runs smoothly.

About Laird Fair
 
The annual Laird Fair has been a tradition in Laird Township since the 1880s. It is held every year during the third weekend of August, and includes events and activities that appeal to both newcomers and regulars of all ages including displays, horse shows, tractor pulls, and local bands and entertainment amongst many others. Everyone is welcome to come out and take part either as a participant or an observer in all the festivities.
