SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - The Group Health Centre Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Lambert as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Group Health Centre.
Alex joined the Group Health Centre team in May of 2012 as Chief Financial Officer, and was appointed interim CEO in June of this year.
His proven leadership skills have been recognized, and the Board of Directors looks forward to working with Alex and his team to focus on providing better patient care, improving the patient experience, and positioning the Group Health Centre as an employer of choice and a key part of this community.
Alex extends his thanks to the board, saying he is honoured by the opportunity. “I look forward to working with our dedicated team of managers, staff and providers. Together, we can make the Group Health Centre an incredible place to work and receive care.”
Alex has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and has worked across both the public and private sectors in a variety of settings. He lives in Sault Ste. Marie with his wife, two children, and two dogs.
