This is a description of an unplanned power interruption(s) that is currently affecting PUC Distribution customers in Sault Ste. Marie.

Interruption Date: September 05, 2014 at 16:56 p.m.

Customers Affected:  533
 
Cause of Interruption:  Equipment Failure
 
Description of area involved: Second Line W. West of Carpin Beach Rd to Airport Rd.  Airport Rd to Pt Des Chenes
 
Initial power outage caused 533 customers to lose power. 
 
This was increased to 1127 to isolate the faulty equipment for safety reasons. 
 
As of 19:28 pm there were still 261 customers without power.
