The Sault Ste. Marie Fire Service, jointly with the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office and Police Services, are investigating a fire that occurred in the 100 block of Sackville Road July 17, 2014.
Fire Services dispatch received a 911 call at approximately 3 p.m.
Upon arrival, fire crews encountered smoke in the corridors and were directed to the unit of origin.
The fire was contained to a singular apartment with light smoke damage throughout the building.
No one was hurt in the fire.
The fire remains under investigation.
