Ryan charged with trespassing, threatening and resisting arrest

Wednesday, June 25, 2014   by: Staff

At approximately 4 a.m. this morning, a home owner on McMeeken Street called 911 to report two suspicious males in her yard.

Officers attended in the area and located a male in a driveway of a home in the 1200 block of Queen Street East.

Officers determined the male had no authority to be on the property and he was subsequently arrested.

It is alleged that the male then resisted officers by trying to pull away from the officers and flailing around while they were handcuffing him.

Once in custody, the accused allegedly threatened to kill one of the police officers.

19-year-old Ryan McLeish of Pim Street will be appearing in bail court this morning.

He has been charged with one count of trespass by night, one count of resist arrest and one count of threaten to cause death.
