A little prick broke into my garage, cost me $200 for a new window and all he took was a lighter. Wish he would of just knocked on the door

This is why I leave my car unlocked at all times. Never had a problem. Well once, someone went through my glove box and spilled the basically nothing worthwhile that is in there. If the car was stolen, I wonder if insurance would have something to say? I had better check that out.

black spruce,

Maybe just get insurance on your home...
Frio 6/13/2014 10:41:47 PM Report

With insurance when you make a claim, you have to pay the deductable out of your pocket, usually the first $500.00 or $1000.00 and then the insurance company raises your premiums to compensate themselves for your claim.
blackspruce 6/14/2014 5:48:22 AM Report

working man really, have you ever tried to collect insurance? first theer is a $500 deductible, and then they raise your insurance when you make a claim. Went through the police even though there was finger prints all over the glass the cop told me it was highly unlikely the guy would be caught. So yes I replaced the window and paid the $200. When you are old enough to own a home you will understand
Gotmilk 6/14/2014 9:46:25 AM Report

My car was entered on Strand Ave. and some change stolen from a closed console, nothing major.
I called the police and the officer said they wouldn't investigate, or attend, they would just make a note of the crime to see if there was a pattern in the area.
