Orazietti encourages residents to vote early in advance polls
Provincial Liberal Plan Offers Strongest Supports for Sault Residents

David Orazietti, Liberal candidate, is encouraging all eligible voters to cast their ballots early in the advance polls, open now until June 6.

“This election, Sault residents have an important choice to make on the kind of future we want for our community,” said Orazietti. “The Liberal plan builds upon the tremendous progress we have made in our city over the last eleven years and makes new investments to strengthen the retirement savings of Ontarians, create jobs, further increase access to health care, renew school infrastructure and implement a long-term infrastructure plan to support the four-laning of Highway 17.”

Early voting stations are open at a number of locations throughout the city.

Advance polls provide residents with greater flexibility and convenience and save voters time.

For further information on early voting dates and locations, contact the David Orazietti Campaign Office at 705-251-3012.

irishfey 6/2/2014 12:17:20 PM Report

And just " why " does he want the voters to vote " early?".. Feeling a bit uneasy or wants his ego boosted a bit?.. Not going to happen with me!!
canadiens_8 6/2/2014 12:21:02 PM Report

If David can't answer a simple email from a concerned citizen, then why should a person vote for them? Yeah I will be voting too but you might not like my vote
GrampaF 6/2/2014 12:35:50 PM Report

David, for being the Minister of Natural Resources your an embarrasment to the Algoma and Sault area! Why don't you do something with the Whitman Dam Road that leads to the Algoma Headwaters Park area and Goulais River Canoe route? You do nothing for the local outdoor lovers that spend thousands of dollars for camping, hunting, fishing, canoeing or hikers in the area.
Kevin5069 6/2/2014 12:45:24 PM Report

He and his party need your support.... So they can continue wasting billions on rewarding themselves and business partners. $1.2 billion to not build two power plants??? Who exactly got that tax money???
eadiecougs 6/2/2014 1:07:09 PM Report

Sun News Network will air the television premiere of the documentary film DOWN WIND on Wednesday, June 4 at 8:00 p.m. ET

DOWN WIND is a tell-all film that deals head on with how Ontario politicians rammed through green energy laws and dashed forward with the installation of thousands of wind turbines across the province's farmland and countryside.

The film exposes how the lights of liberty went out for Ontario citizens deeply opposed to wind turbine projects. It tells the stories of communities torn apart, and the rural warriors now fighting for their rights, health and happiness.

Sun News Network host and contributor Rebecca Thompson joined Surge Media Productions to create this passionate, yet alarming story of a flawed attempt to green Ontario's electricity grid.

DOWN WIND debunks the Ontario Liberal government's propaganda that wind power is economically and environmentally sound, by pointing to jaw-dropping wind subsidies and a fossil fuel back-up system.

The film tells the ugly truth about lucrative big wind power contracts, skyrocketing electricity prices, and the political connections behind it all.

It uncovers the skeptical sales pitch that wind turbines are good for the air and won't impact health. And it provides a glimmer of hope that this nightmare can be overcome with fair-minded solutions.

Passionate stories, eye-dropping footage and never-before seen interviews are showcased in this highly anticipated Sun News Network film backed financially by hundreds of concerned citizens.

Sun News Network is available on cable and satellite across Canada; check your local listings to find it on your dial.

Down Wind: A Sun News Documentary is a Surge Media Production for Sun News Network.

Oh Yes, that unbiased right wing group, the Sun Media, will tell us the truth. Give me a break. Let's air the documentary in the middle of an election. Best date would be June 10th. I'll check my local listing. I am sure the Michael Moore haters will just love this.

Running from questions again...hard to debate the artful dodger?

NDP no longer believe Liberal promises:
Andrea Horwath said:

"I will not take lessons about principles from a corrupt Liberal govt — it’s time for a govt that makes sense."

It makes sense to immediately halt the destruction of the iconic landscape amenity upon which our sustainable tourism and the environmental integrity of Lake Superior watershed depends.

Every new electricity contract adds to the costly surplus generation which is causing inefficiencies on the grid which must be paid for by ratepayers and taxpayers...that is beyond senseless!!!
Milky_White 6/2/2014 2:31:04 PM Report

So does anybody actually like any government body?

David... Did you forget to feed the Deers this winter??? We seen one on the side of the hwy. about a month ago and it was all skin and bones!! Never in my life have i seen the Deers in such a sad state. Yes, the winter is hard on them but the past winter was brutal! SHAME on you David!.. I always heard that you could judge a person on how they treat an animal so watch out folks, seems like David won't care if the Eldery and low income folks starve either... The GAS must be paid first ya know!!!!
DavPic 6/2/2014 4:57:49 PM Report

I don't understand why so many sooites vote for representative instead of party and leader... the provincial body is dying of cancer and we are worried about the man who will put a band-aid on a stubbed toe. We should be voting for Blue, Red, or Orange... the names on the signs are irrelevant.
burt 6/2/2014 6:21:14 PM Report

we have been voting for the big 3 parties and all we hear is vote for change . you want change give the green party a chance. I,m tired of liars and big shots with our hard earned money spending with no regard for the tax payers. all they have been doing is skyrocketing the cost of living
gcubed 6/2/2014 6:46:00 PM Report

If David was an honest politician, if such an animal exists, then he would tell you he wants you to get out and vote, but only if you are going to vote for him! Do you really think he cares if you don't vote, if you are not voting for him?
scottstewy123 6/2/2014 7:34:17 PM Report

HEY DAVID your not going to like my vote since you can not talk about the scandals and high price of electricity
ShawnM 6/2/2014 8:41:11 PM Report

Well just remember when you vote that the debit has gone up over $160 BILLION since the liberals have taken office only about 11 years ago... Thats more debit than both the PC and NDP combine from the previous 20-25 years before them...

The liberals have destroyed this province and need to be punished for it at the ballet box.
