Not everyone steals for the same reason but I agree it's not the way to go.
canadiens_8 5/29/2014 6:17:30 PM Report

"steal to survive"? BS. There is no excuse to stealing.
KBO 5/29/2014 7:27:16 PM Report

She needed it, couldn't charge her phone so she can call her dealer and welfare payday is not till tomorrow.
gregn 5/29/2014 7:50:32 PM Report

"Welfare" and stealing should not be linked in such an assumptive way. Rude as hell about people's lives you know nothing about. People who require social assistance have enough to worry about without you casting them all out together as thieves. Notice I used the word PEOPLE.
rigrider 5/29/2014 9:05:21 PM Report

brutal you can buy the charger at the dollar store for crying out loud .but then again she would just steal from there aswell
Dead End Kid 5/29/2014 10:11:35 PM Report

Canadians, you asserted "steal to survive",that is not what I said.
Sam C 5/30/2014 9:02:30 AM Report

gregn... well said.

It could be that some people on welfare choose to steal, but it would be wrong to assume that all people (or even most) on welfare are thieves.

It's sad that so many people make this false assumption.
crashed13 5/30/2014 11:53:14 AM Report

Stealing off the wrong person can be a backwards approach to surviving.
myster 5/30/2014 4:53:25 PM Report

I agree. There's is no excuse....poor or not. get a freaking life people. And at 54 years old? Didn't you learn ANYTHING as a kid? I mean, c'mon!
