I-75 Business Spur traffic will be slowed for road work

I-75 Business Spur work Thursday, Friday 

County:  Chippewa

Highway:  I-75 Business Spur (BS)

Closest city:  Sault Ste. Marie

Estimated starting date:  Thursday, May 29, 2014

Estimated completion date:  Friday, May 30, 2014

Project:  The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be making pavement repairs on I-75 BS from I-75 east to M-129.

Traffic restrictions:  Traffic will be maintained with traffic shifts.

I'm glad to hear it's getting done. That section is brutal for potholes. Swerving like a drunk and hoping not to get pulled over. LOL!

Now if only OUR local Board of Works can finish the postholes instead of cleaning them while cleaning the streets. There is a nasty one at McDonald near Pim that soon can rip a tire off the axel. And a few of the patch jobs have settled to almost the same depth they were previously along McDonald, St Georges and McNabb.

That bump on Great Northern by BULK BARN is brutal. One would think the city would fix something that bad in a timely manner. All they did was pave over a bad situation and now we have a HIGHER bump.
