Rod says Kathleen has no plan

Tuesday, May 27, 2014   by: Staff

Yesterday afternoon Kathleen Wynne tripped up and revealed her dishonesty, by refusing to answer the very simple question of how many public service layoffs would result from her platform.

When Questioned on public sector layoffs, Wynne said it’s, “….too complicated to say answers,” and, “….there is no yes or no answer.”; Kathleen Wynne needs to come clean with the people of Ontario.

Is her number higher or lower than Smokey Thomas who said “There's probably 60,000 too many managers in the public service” (Toronto Sun, September 20, 2012).

Local PC Candidate Rod Fremlin said “Kathleen Wynne was unable to answer direct questions on her own budget because she has no plan.”

Recently released documents show as much.

Yesterday’s gaffe proves once and for all what we all know.

For Kathleen Wynne, this campaign is about saving one job, and that’s her own.

It’s clear that families have a choice in this election.

The Liberals, who continue to hide the truth because they have no plan to balance the budget, or the Ontario PC Million Jobs Plan to create jobs and grow the economy by balancing the budget.

Good for you Rod, to get out there and get your voice heard. Folks were beginning to think of you as a phantom candidate and i know different,, so do your best and tell the people what you intended to do for us.. We need to hear more from you chum.... Best of luck to you....
Frio 5/27/2014 1:30:23 PM Report

Phantom candidate is right, Rod hasn't had his image captured in a photograph while running for the PC's.

Oh, please tell us how to you plan on taking the power away from unions, creating more minimum wage jobs ,take away good paying jobs from this town in which many consider a ghost town and in which our children leave to move to a city in which there are more opportunities. And please explain how these businesses that will pay our good citizens the minimum wage will get even higher tax breaks in which the average citizen will have to cover.. wow what a platform. Please tell us more!!!! Roflmao

I'll never voter PC
KFM 5/27/2014 2:37:54 PM Report

Yes and we know for sure the PC 's will lay off thousands driving the economy down because thier will be less money to spend forcing busness to down size and lay more off. Good plan Hudak! Kill the province but be up front on doing it!
Battler213 5/27/2014 3:05:15 PM Report

Randy - prove, or even show, where it said "create minimum wage jobs"

Also, list all 100,000 public sector jobs will be lost.

Many sectors are running bloated. Shouldn't we know what jobs will be cut and why before casting stones saying it's well paid jobs being lost?
learningaswego 5/27/2014 3:08:39 PM Report

Like em or hate em, the PC's are the only party willing to be up front with the public on what HAS to be done to bring the province's fiscal situation under control.

The NDP and Liberals aren't even willing to talk about it, let alone face the music BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT ISN'T POPULAR.
They'd rather continue to pretend, to FOOL the public, into thinking there is no pending fiscal CRISIS. So who would you rather be in charge - those willing to make the tough, but NEEDED changes, even though they might be unpopular.....or, politicians that tell you everything's just fine, it'll all workout - with no real plan.
Hmmm 5/27/2014 5:26:59 PM Report

Mark Twain said it best when he proclaimed, "Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it." Are any of the parties truly “deserving” of our support? They each speak untruths with regularity.
muf 5/27/2014 6:51:26 PM Report

They don`t have to say it will be minimum wage jobs . Union haters like Hudak will never admit to it . Why else would he Want a right to work (for free) province
lookaround 5/27/2014 7:45:36 PM Report

Hudak will not win.
muf 5/27/2014 8:23:53 PM Report

NDP have no plan. Hudak shoots himself in the foot everytime he opens his mouth. Win Win for Wynne it or not .
Twistinwrenches 5/27/2014 10:26:12 PM Report

The average wage for public sector workers is much higher than that of the private sector workers. This inbalance will not work . Minimum wage should be 40 dollars an hour . This will balance it out.

...and a loaf of bread costs ten bucks.
speed7 5/28/2014 5:03:54 AM Report

and we all know what hudak`s plans are? He will destroy the province including major havoc to northern ontario? His billion jobs plan is a joke! Well all be so poor for years beyond his reign. Hudak reminds me of that looser mike harris and his disaster legacy he left us all. I guess ontario wants more of the same BS. Thats what you get BS.
MYPOINT 5/28/2014 8:18:48 AM Report

The only time you know for sure that a politician is lying is when their mouth is moving and sound is coming out of it.

I think every voter in this Country should start demanding that there be some way to fire any and all politicians who make promises that they have no intention of keeping AFTER they have STOLEN our votes. To continue on with the nonsensical way we vote right now is to continue down the same slippery slope we have for generations.

When a politician lies to us and steals our votes due to these lies being espoused ( Could this not even be considered a 'breach of contract' ), we the voters, have no recourse other than to wait for a very long 4 years or so to kick them out of office. This simply MUST be changed or we will never have any honest answers from any politicians.

Please ensure that YOU get out to vote regardless of who you wish to vote for but remember, if you vote PC, you are asking for a very long chaotic 4 years of government and then at least a couple of decades fixing what that little toad HUDAK has done to this Province!!

As always, this is only my opinion :)
Battler213 5/28/2014 8:41:56 AM Report

muf : They kind of do. He is claiming these will be middle class jobs. Minimum wage isn't middle class. So yet again, I ask you to show a list please. If not, your accusations are false. BTW - I think all three evils aren't vote worthy. Just don't like ignorance.
johnnyc 5/28/2014 9:01:20 AM Report

Makes me laugh when people say the PC's are the only ones who will do what HAS to be done to fix everything...

There are always other options or ideas...and I'm sure there are many available that aren't as extreme as firing 100'000 people with families across Ontario.

Give your head a shake.
johnnyc 5/28/2014 9:04:56 AM Report's the list...
burnell 5/29/2014 7:09:24 AM Report
