Here comes the rain again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you

Nice choice of lyrics - let's hope it's just the rain falling on heads and not pieces of the ride like last time!

Funny Yearly Event...

The funny part of the annual carnival has to be that very little has changed in the last 45 years, that I can recall.

There are a few new rides but basically it appears to be the same games, booths and some original people from 1970..LOL

Maybe when the carnival leaves the local weather will heat up?
GrammaDingbat54 5/13/2014 5:48:00 PM Report

Yep, same old same old. Then again, I haven't gone in several years so I wouldn't really know what's new. In all honesty, I would just rather spend my money elsewhere.

Do they have a seniors night with half speed rides?

bubba85 5/13/2014 9:06:27 PM Report

i think its a waste of money and unsafe rides for kids to be there and they bring nasty weather with them,,we shouldnt have them here no more..they are disrespectful adults that work for that company..they are money hungry ppl...im not going to the fair its all about the money to them,,,they are very over priced and money hungry ppl that work for campbells amusements..we never had a nice hot may 24 in years...im sorry if i sounded rude but its the truth
Lone24 5/13/2014 9:23:03 PM Report

They are all crooks in the midway. Every game is rigged so you can't win.
kamen 5/13/2014 9:34:19 PM Report

I've won stuff from the games, also it probably will rain all week....which sucks....I might just go to see what the vendors are selling in the tents, sometimes they have some nice stuff.
Tee 5/13/2014 9:55:14 PM Report

All you negative old grouches...this is not for you, its for the kids.
LongBean 5/14/2014 12:26:24 AM Report

Get rid of this waste of money, if ur gunna do a fair, do it on a grassy area and big" id rather save my coin, besides kids these days rather sit on the computer.....
polaris 5/14/2014 6:09:49 AM Report

Whiners.
Tee 5/14/2014 6:40:31 AM Report

Save your coin and don't go, if it was that bad it wouldn't be full of young people would it.
You old miseries must like sucking the joy out of everything.
borj 5/14/2014 7:28:22 AM Report

Maybe the T.S.S.A. should show up an check the rides, after all it says on their website that they check amusement park rides and after all they do put public safety first! Might as well bring the COLLEGE OF TRADES along too and make sure everyone is qualified to run the wrenches and stuff to put these carnivals together. While their at it bring the M.T.O. by to check the junk they drive around transporting the carnival from town to town.
bubba85 5/14/2014 10:07:01 AM Report

THERE TRUCKS SHOULD BE PULLED OFF THE ROAD FOR GOOD AND THE RIDES SHOULD BE SAFTEY MORE OFFEN IF THE RIDE IS OLD SCRAP IT...THEY ARE DISREPECT COIN GRABBING PPL...I THINK THE M.T.O AND T.S,S,A SHOULD BE WALKING THE GROUNDS AND THEY SHOULD GET A COUPLE OF TECHS TO GET THE RIDES AND THE TRUCKS...THEY DRIVE SCRAP TRUCKS..SOME OF THE EMPLOYEES HAVE A GLASS G DRIVING A AZ TRUCK THATS WHAT I HEARD BEFORE FROM SOURCES..WE DONT NEED THESE GUYS AND LADIES HERE....I DIDNT WANT TO SOUND RUDE
northsteel 5/14/2014 11:50:02 AM Report

I went to the fair every year as a child. I have taken my children to the fair every year. And now my children are taking their children to the fair. It is a tradition and I think that May being a spring month it would still be cool and rainy even if the fair wasn't here. If it gets the children outdoors and off their butts yay.
guestwho 5/15/2014 10:46:34 AM Report

why don`t they ban the midway, the only thing they bring is bad weather!!!!
At least for one yr. to see what happens
