Sault Ste Marie should be embarrassed to be as an Energy Innovation Hub as this is why and the cause of massive hydro energy hikes and making CEO of these energy companies & OPG richer while taking from the pockets of every day consumers on our independence on hydro.
Mr. Poster 5/12/2014 12:33:10 PM Report

All these solar farms...hydro rates still rising...what benefit have locals received from these ugly farms?? Excess electricity is sent to states like NEW YORK who charge US to take free power.....something is very wrong here.

What a joke ! Someone's bright idea and a make work project. Nothing substantial will ever come of this. The solar farms are owned by American enterprises

The province is paying a fantastic sum of money for the generated power with the money leaving the country with little or no return to the area.
ThinkAgain 5/12/2014 1:21:02 PM Report

This sounds like funding from the Liberals, actually embarrassing to the tax payer.

"Lets make an excuse and stuff our pockets before they understand the truth", so tired of wasted taxpayers money.
