Swampstravaganza IV kicks off at 1 p.m. at the Oddfellows Hall, 124 Dennis St., and includes music from haggish, Ashes to Dust, Pillory, the Bear Hunters, and many more. Music continues to 1 a.m. This is an all ages event. Admission is $5 at the door.

The Soo Theatre, 534 Ashmun St. in Sault Michigan, presents the Festival Orchestra concert at 7 p.m.

Raise The Woof Comedy Night, a fundraiser for the Humane Society, begins at 8 p.m. at the Northern Grand Gardens (former Riuniti Hall) and features three stand-up comics, a 50/50 draw and silent auction. Tickets available at the shelter or online at For more information, call 705-949-3573.

Sault Theatre Workshop presents its spring production, Soldier's Heart by David French, directed by Brent Vallee, at the Studio Theatre at 8 p.m. For ticket information, call 705-946-4081.

The Hustle Brothers play the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Boxcar Junction plays the Esquire Club, 102 Second Line West, starting at 9:30 p.m.

Tym Morrison performs at the Harp Pub and Grill, 701 Pine St., from 10 p.m. until close.

Thin Ice plays the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East, starting at 10:30 p.m.

Excuse me, Donna. But Pillory was not supposed to play this show and never told anyone they were supposed to play this show. So I would appreciate if you took that lie off of this page and stopped making the band look bad, thanks.

It's very rude and unprofessional to dish out false information on what is supposed to be a TRUSTED NEWS SITE.

If you ever want to say Pillory is playing a show, maybe you should get a hold of the front man of the band and ask instead of just going off of whatever BS someone else fed you.
