Our judges are turning this town into an unsafe environment by the little slaps on the wrist...one gets away with, tons of others realize they too will get away with it, & so it goes. We need MUCH stiffer penalties judges, please get on it!!! Law abiding citizens don't have a chance, while criminals can & do, do as they please!
Fines should be higher, forced to work on a farm or someplace, to repay, surely there are ways?

Nunchaku sticks and a blowgun: maybe he was a nerd with some toys hanging on the wall, nerds love all that authentic Eastern weapons crap. like seriously?

ammunition: even literal spitballs could qualify as blowgun ammunition. so could any random piece of craft glitter.

codeine pills: some Tylenol T4s, the # of people who have these hanging around isn't small

marijuana: woopdidoo in ten to fifteen years the last ignorant grumblers to accepting this harmless drug (there are inconclusive studies contradicting this, but honestly, if you want to split hairs, let's chat about alcohol's long term effects first) as part and parcel of society will be senile or dead. do we feel any safer because Carter can't smoke a joint? frankly I'd rather he munched on some doritos than went out playing ninja with his twirling baton act

"one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking", nah nah, don't make me laugh

do you have even a crumb of marijuana in your carpet--maybe even unaware from someone who smokes regularly that you didn't realize rubbing their hands--and some ziplock baggies in the kitchen? why don't you call over the K9 unit for tea sometime. then have the officer do his thing where the conditioned animal snaps on command in order to precipitate a limitless search of every square inch of your property and private life. watch the charges pile up as the police employ the utmost creative liberty in their artful departure from real life.

(now in the specific case of Carter, he was garbage, if you check into the history he was nailed for an unregistered firearm a year back, I'm personally glad he got nabbed, but you have to still be as critical with every bust ... because let me tell you, when your cousin or your son or your brother go down for their vice, you're not gonna be too happy when the people of SSM are picturing a dealer when the reality was a guy who smoked twice a week and was unfortunate enough to own ten sandwich bags)

@rider_ even a paint ball, blow gun or BB gun. Try getting hit in the face by one of those. Doesn't take much to cause damage to someone eyes or throat. Even in close range. My friend got shot by someone with a paint ball gun on Great Northern Road by a drive by shooting. She couldn't walk for a few day.
