James receives multiple charges for alleged threatening

45-year-vold James Guertin of Grace Street is in custody charged with assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and threatening after an incident earlier today where he became involved in a fight with another male known to him. 

During the incident it is alleged that he threatened the victim and his family, refused to let the victim leave while armed with a knife and struck the victim with the blunt end of an axe.

The victim did not require medical attention.

Guertin will appear in bail court this morning.

This is where drugs comes into place.! I knew this guy for many years and saw him going down hill since high school too bad he was a nice guy.

I'm sorry to see this Story I too know James. Last time I talked to him, he was taking a course that he seemed very excited about it. Plus I might add he seemed stable. But in the past their were altercations with other I witnessed and did not understand his frustration. I hope he finds his way to happiness, and leaves the destructive path he's following. Good luck Jams, I hope you can find some help.
