CRIME STOPPERS

*************************
Victims of break and enter can be left with not only the loss of valuable possessions, but also the loss of a sense of safety and security.

Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police need your help to solve three break and enters to cottages on Lonely Lake Road in MacDonald-Meredith-Aberdeen Additional Township.

These break and enters occurred sometime between February 17 and March 12, 2014.

All three cottages were entered by kicking in a door.

The cottages were ransacked and damage was caused to items within them.

Liquor, a paintball rifle and an electric trolling motor were stolen from one of the cottages.

In another, a young child’s bedroom was used as a washroom.

For every crime committed, someone other than the criminal may have information to help solve the crime and make Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District a safer place.

Call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 705-942-7867 or 1-800-222-8477.

Type a tip through our website at www.saultcrimestoppers.com or text the keyword SSM along with your tip to 274637.

TheBGuy 4/30/2014 1:29:27 PM Report

Time to pull out the DNA kits for the child's room. Who knows, it may lead to a match at some point lol!
25miller 4/30/2014 1:45:29 PM Report

Sad part is the OPP knows who these morons are that are doing all the break ins around that area and do nothing about it...Same bunch broke into my camp and they know who it it was but no one seen them do it but they said they know who..they need pictures or eye witnesses...Poor Canada.
roxxyroller 4/30/2014 2:03:56 PM Report

Nothing that a bear trap can't take care of!!
IgnorantNortherner 4/30/2014 2:13:59 PM Report

Not that I'd ever doubt the sleuthing skills of the OPP but any "clue" how they figured out the guilty bunch without evidence to convict, miller?
derek 4/30/2014 3:06:19 PM Report

All they need to do is break into the wrong house.

And that will be that!
25miller 4/30/2014 3:17:04 PM Report

IgnorantNortherner ..Bruce Mines is rather small...They know who it is..don't you worry..
Alystr 4/30/2014 4:08:38 PM Report

Set up motion activated spy-cams. They are awesome and inexpensive.
itsme29 4/30/2014 4:27:19 PM Report

25miller this wasn't near bruce mines..
Gater 4/30/2014 4:28:15 PM Report

Alystr Are those the same as the stealth game cameras?
I believe those cameras are what was used at the camps broken into on Ranger lake last year to catch the thieves..

Brain 4/30/2014 5:59:38 PM Report

Maybe he meant the thieves are from around the Bruce Mines area, and lonely lake is well in their vicinity, Miller is right they know who it is!!
itsme29 4/30/2014 7:27:30 PM Report

if ya know who it is call crimestoppers and make yourself some coin... don't just rant on here about it
Bad Dawg 5/1/2014 12:52:58 AM Report

everyone should have a couple cheap trail cams hidden around camp (inside and out) and their house too!!
Powerwise 5/1/2014 1:42:46 AM Report

Who cares if they're caught? They'll just be back at it a year or two down the line anyways. And you can bet your butt that ODSP, the SSMHC and a plethora of other organizations will give them their blessings upon release.

What's the point of paying taxes for a legal system that ultimately does absolutely NOTHING?

While I agree that the police do all that they realistically can do, regardless of whether or not it's their fault, they ARE practically useless in this day and age: THE SAD TRUTH.

My suggestion: pay less attention to your TV set (or preferably just obliterate it with a sledgehammer), get physically fit, learn to fight and suffer, perhaps acquire a legal weapon and learn how to use it, and install some security cameras around your property.

If you want to get fit fast, leave your pretentious, massively oversized pickup truck at home and take a bike to work. At once you'll shed pounds (and let's face it: you NEED to shed a "few" pounds, lol), build muscle, save a bundle of money and also grow the pair of balls that your massive armoured 4x4 has denied to you all these years.

Also learn to drink beer with a greater than 5% ABV; it's like drinking bottled fu**ing water!
Sam The Dog 5/1/2014 6:50:26 AM Report

Powerwise??????????What does getting fit have to do with Break and Enters?Sounds to me that your OVERCOMPISATING for a small Penis
ti-guy 5/1/2014 9:56:37 AM Report

Sam the dog.... good one, and. what you say is also probably true..... the 'compisating' was your best....
Bad Dawg 5/2/2014 1:18:29 AM Report

powerwise...... you need to lay off the creatine sounds like your coming into some "roid rage".... and the size of my Jeep has nothing to do with the size of my balls... makes me wonder why my testicle size is on your mind??
