Saturday Art Making: Learn art techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media taught by local artists and art educators. Hosted at the Art Gallery of Algoma, 50 East Street, from 10 a.m. to noon for ages 6 to 12 years. Session runs from March 22 to May 3. Call 705-949-0967 for details.

Saturday Art Club: Parents and children will work together to discover art in the studio and in the exhibition galleries. While exploring lots of art mediums, this class will provide opportunities for creative play and fun learning. Crossroads plays the New American Pub, 602 Bay Street, starting at 6 p.m.

Cody McMillan and guests Rusty McCarthy, Lindsay Pugh, Mark Gough and Britta Wolfert will host an evening dedicated to the music of Tom petty at the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd. Show time is 9 p.m.

Havadder plays Rednecks Saloon, 304 Albert St. West (formerly the Nicolet Tavern), from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Techniques for Teens at the Art Gallery of Algoma: Learn art techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media taught by local artists and art educators who bring their talent and experience to each class. Class runs from 1 to 3 p.m. and is for ages 12 and older. This session runs from March 23 to May 4. Cost: $70 AGA Family Members, $80 Non-members. Please call 705-949-9067 for more information.

Northwest performs at Coch's Corner, 708 Queen St. East, for an acoustic Easter Sunday celebration. Music starts at 9 p.m.

Not everything that's going on is posted on the to-do-list....I think they just put up whatever is sent to them. Well at least people now know there's going to be a burlesque show tonight...sounds like a good time! Also I'm pretty sure it's called the Grand Gardens or something like that now, new owners :)
