What's with that corner? I drove a school bus past there on Friday the 21st at about the same time and there was a car/transport that had collided. Is it cellphones or other electronic devices?

Today EVERYTHING is blamed on cell phones right away.
Accidents DID happen before, long before cell phones.

I didn't see this accident but I use this intersection almost daily and have often wondered why there is no advance turn signal. I am hoping that this will change long before the new St. Marys College opens because this area is only getting busier.

I agree with GE&H that as busy as this intersection is now, it is only going to get busier once new school is open. This intersection has had many accidents over the years. The police department would know what is the most common cause(s) of these accidents. Armed with that information perhaps the city traffic dept could take steps to address these issues

Ummm, it's called enforcing the traffic laws. They don't do that anymore, it seems they prefer to do clean up instead.

Just wait until there are 15 or so school busses using this very intersection when the new St. Marys school opens up. People will have to avoid Second Line if they want to go east. It will be like Highway #401 in Toronto at rush hour, a parking lot, with all the extra traffic from the new school. I believe there will be a lot of accidents at the Pine St. intersection too!!!!
