Who's your favorite Gilligan's Island castaway... Mary Ann or Ginger?

Blame that question on the picture used.

These guys must have been smoke’n the entire journey ….They must have crossed back into Canada in order to be checked by Canada Customs …that means they had to have gone over at Sarnia rather then just staying in Canada via North Bay thru the Soo and north thru Thunder Bay. They really don’t have a clue on maps or geography or diddly ..little scary these guys on our highways …. Dumb as stumps …lol

Sometimes when you hit customs and give that excuse.......hey dude...we was heading for Alberta and a voice said.....turn here... You'll hear another voice saying.....hey dude..pull under the Tarmac...something smells rotten in Denmark...but hey....30 grams ...I doubt they were dealers. just two wild and crazy guys trying to find they're way out west. aka dumb and dumber. :)

Ummm...I'm pretty sure the story says they crossed the international bridge and then crossed back, which is when they were checked by Canada Customs..doesn't say anything about Sarnia?
Sam C 3/21/2014 10:29:06 AM Report

In all fairness, I just tried Google Maps (St John NB to Calgary AB) and the route it plotted crossed into Maine and stayed in the US in Montana -- it is the shortest route. Likely their GPS plotted a similar route.

They would have had to make their decision to head up to Canada somewhere in Ohio or Indiana.

But, I agree... they aren't good with directions.

oooops Thanx ..must of read it wrong ...
riverman 3/21/2014 11:12:46 AM Report

@ TFinn: And then you wrote it wrong. "I must HAVE read it wrong" is correct. "Must OF read it wrong" is incorrect. If you remove the word "must," the sentence should still make sense: "I have read it wrong." You can't say, "I OF read it wrong." Your sentence needs a verb. "Of" is not a verb. That concludes my grammar lesson for the day.
