Reduced loading on city streets has begun

CITY OF SAULT STE MARIE

The City of Sault Ste. Marie advises truck owners/operators that reduced load restrictions (5 tonnes per axle) will be in effect on city streets commencing 12:01 a.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2014.

Streets exempted from these regulations as provided under Traffic By-law 77-200 Schedule ‘N’ (Section 41) are listed on the City website www.cityssm.on.ca under City Hall By-Laws.

they just throw lose asphalt over the potholes in which my car is full of.maybe they should invent a rubberized epoxy to fill them in and its flexible too

@eadiecougs - I saw city of Hamilton workers fixing potholes last week. They used loose asphalt too, but imagine this - they packed it down and then even swept up the mess!

crashed... most truckers should know the weight of their load. This isn't a new thing, it's been happening every year for decades. The truckers know what to do.
