To all the police and justice officials: Put these kids in jail, and keep them there. And while they are there, teach them some lessons about life. Because, if they break into my house next week, they will be going to the morgue.
Gurpy 2/14/2014 9:08:43 AM Report

No one would end up in the morgue if they were STUPID enough to try anything at my home! But, they would need ongoing psychiatric treatment and heavy duty meds to erase the memory of what I would not hesitate to do to them!
Buddy_Bob 2/14/2014 9:11:52 AM Report

And you'd both end up with cells next to them. Only a longer stay.
MarcHandthefunkybunch 2/14/2014 9:17:55 AM Report

I live on Heath, please, come try and break into my garage, please. I won't call the cops, I'll take care of you myself. These people are an embarrassment to their families. Goofs.
michebuck 2/14/2014 9:28:33 AM Report

If this happened at my house it would be the last time they did it. I'd lock you in my garage and beat the f$&k out of you for 3 days then throw you on the side of the road.... What's the point of calling the cops.... Even if they find them they are back on the street the next day... That's why there are so many of these crimes. These low lifes know nothing will happen to them. The only way to teach them a lesson is to do it yourself... God knows the justice system won't.
Christina216 2/14/2014 9:40:29 AM Report

Jodys becoming famous on sootoday...february 11 he was charged...
wh800 2/14/2014 9:46:27 AM Report

as someone who actually woke up and caught the guy breaking in. Kick the crap out of him, I rather enjoyed it. Just drag him by his privates back to your yard so you don't get charged.
riverman 2/14/2014 9:55:53 AM Report

There have been a couple of residents of Elmwood Avenue who have had run-ins with the law recently. If these individuals are indeed guilty of the crimes with which they have been charged, I feel badly for the neighbours who have to share their street with multiple offenders who live within only blocks of each other.
ssmrental 2/14/2014 9:56:03 AM Report

Jody been in and out for over the last 4yrs my god our justice system works good just put his name into sootoday news seach system, probably see him out on the street in no time

"Patrol Services "? Do they categorize the police cars duties now?
jojoe71 2/14/2014 11:32:11 AM Report

I can't imagine this perp having a legal vehicle , insurance and all. I doubt he even has a job.so how does he get around to perform all his illegal activity? Boggles my little mind :)
help me 2/14/2014 11:50:09 AM Report

WH800
LOVE your way of thinking!!LOL And you are right...so long as they are not found on YOUR property! LOL
fishing 2/14/2014 12:37:59 PM Report

i agree with above comments its time to take the law into our own hands the criminals know how to play the system.so i agree kick the crap out of them ,make them feel terror break there hands.
then deny it all i bet the cops wouldnt work to hard to arrest you.and the criminal might finally learn a lesson,if not next time a trip to the forest.
Ynattirb 2/14/2014 1:31:54 PM Report

I love how everyone's response is to retaliate by also committing a crime. It's not your job to "teach them a lesson". Yes our system is a joke but it's not up to us to do anything. I'm sure if getting arrested and charged hasn't deterred Jody, getting smacked around won't either. Some people will never learn. Thats life.
Gurpy 2/14/2014 2:20:06 PM Report

Ynattirb
People have every right to protect themselves and their property. It isn`t retaliation as you put it. It is called WISDOM! Not allowing some little scum bag the opportunity to take what he or she has not worked for!
michebuck 2/14/2014 2:34:09 PM Report

Also committing a crime? "Officer I've never seen this little piece of s$&t in my life. I don't know how he got a broken nose, 2 black eyes, and a broken arm and ended up in the ditch...... "
mikethedeerman 2/14/2014 3:09:40 PM Report

nope never seen him officer. but I don't miss him . and hearing that I might leave my door unlocked tonight (ps check the bush) lmao
Gurpy 2/14/2014 3:35:11 PM Report

Bad Dawg 2/14/2014 5:02:45 PM Report

had a drunk guy walk into my house once.... he ate some elbows. I called the cops they came down picked him up a couple streets over. they came back and shook my hand but said next time call 911 as soon as you confront someone in your house. I said I had to make sure my family was safe and I did make the call when he was out of my house and told you guys the direction he wobbled away..... they asked me if I wanted to press any assault charges. I said "If he is gonna charge me for kicking his ass then yeah I'll charge him too."

cop didn't think he would... because it happened in my house the judge would rule in my favor.... and because its the same judge that will deal with his trespassing, home invasion, mischief, possession of B&E tools it would be in his best interest to leave well enough alone.

my door is never locked... if the dog don't get you, I sure as heck will!!
CLT 2/14/2014 5:34:05 PM Report

Really Bad Dawg. Let me get this right. You leave your door unlocked to let in the drunks. You sound as dumb as your dog.
Gurpy 2/14/2014 6:51:23 PM Report

Bawd Dog
RIGHT ON! Lol
Gurpy 2/14/2014 6:52:05 PM Report

Sorry, Bad Dawg
shit4brains 2/14/2014 9:28:37 PM Report

As we all listen to this news in our city...I have a question for anyone that has an answer. A man was sentenced to 8 years for sexually abusing a minor for years but...nothing was mentioned. They do not have to mention the poor young girl that he did this to her for years but at least we should be notified of his name so we can make sure that he never does it again and also find out if he has done this to other young girls. Any input?
Bad Dawg 2/14/2014 10:10:11 PM Report

Yeah I do.... its about "reputation" the punks around my house know I don't take their disrespect BS. I made one sweep up a broken bottle in front of 3 of his friends. my kids can leave any toy/bike/ sled in the front yard and no one touches it... same thing in the summer for yelling curse words. First time I heard them went out and confronted the lil mouthpeices. I put them all in their place.... farther on down the food chain. I am the baddest dawg. woof friggin woof
CLT 2/15/2014 8:33:14 AM Report

Wow, your kids must be so proud of you. One day one of those little mouthpieces is going to slap the yellow off your tooth.
Bad Dawg 2/15/2014 10:57:29 AM Report

they are proud... so are all the other families that can enjoy outside and not listen to cursing kids all summer. I have gotten plenty of thank-you's like cakes, pies, tim's cards for telling punks to watch their mouths around my neighbors little kids.

as for knocking the yellow off my tooth... wrong I got a full set of pearly whites, but if you walk around my neighborhood swearing at the top of your lungs we will cross paths.... but your more than welcome to criticize me from the safety of your mom's basement.
CLT 2/15/2014 12:54:20 PM Report

I'll be right over. Which trailer house do you live in.
Nikkilynn 2/15/2014 3:37:01 PM Report

Ive called the cops and had him arrested about 2 years ago...He stole my cell and my puppy. The puppy got away from him somehow and was hit by a car running home. He better hope I never see his face cause if I do he will be eating my steel toes.
