Same main as a few years ago. Only a patch job then. Must have let go again. Thank god for porta-potties and bottled water. Haha. Can't wait to shower though.
iamtc 2/7/2014 12:01:53 PM Report

Deterioration of pipes lack of knowledge and all the brown water is causing this matter not from frost it's from greed and cheap ways of doing the proper maintenance and repairs
CAMO1 2/7/2014 12:05:00 PM Report

I wonder if the huge snow banks are slowing the work they are doing ?
fatafr 2/7/2014 12:52:37 PM Report

The PUC is doing repairs to this water main break. I was informed that water should be restored by mid to late afternoon.

Lived in the area for 20 years, that breaks at least once every winter and has for quite some time. Maybe time for a replacement?
GoHoundsGo 2/7/2014 1:29:49 PM Report

@Camo ...I see all the Ward councillors streets have had their snow banks removed....hmmm

Gurpy 2/7/2014 3:22:04 PM Report

I agree with Tagg! Thank you Public Works for clearing my west end street a few nights ago! Woke up the next morning and did the "happy dance". I could finally see the road in front of the house for the first time in MONTHS!!
iamtc 2/7/2014 4:02:13 PM Report

Lots of pot holes everywhere when will they get fixed next year I rather have snow banks
lwi 2/7/2014 4:36:46 PM Report

Cold winter
Or have you noticed?
CTgasman 2/7/2014 9:21:55 PM Report

I live on chambers, the banks have been done twice this winter,.
SaultGuy78 2/7/2014 11:29:51 PM Report

I'm surprised, with the state of a few of the roads in the city, that a few more water mains haven't broke. Look at the road heaving (sinking) on Macdonald Ave by Brien Ave. Not to mention the roller coaster on St Georges Ave between John St and North St. Risk of damaging your vehicle's shocks if you frequent those roads.
