Bad thing done here but I guess there was no drunks to report about in the sault last night. All i ever see on here as apparent news is drunk drivers and domestics. Guess we have no REAL news.

Just my opinion but spousal abuse/assault is REAL crime and should not be tolerated!

The day drunk drivers and abusers are NOT news, will be a sad time for us all. I wonder how charming your baby andrew is, andrewsmom? Probably a real winner.

Abuse with no names is worthless news.

Hey, Did you know an unnamed person slapped his wife in Texas this very minute? It's sad yeah. But it's not like you'd know him and can badmouth him(not that that would help any either).

The people who enjoy reading this type of news tells you more about them than anyone else.

Not once did I say that what happened was ok. If you go on a most regular new sites they only put these things in the police section not also in the news. I do think they are horrible crimes and would never ever standby if I saw those things happening. The person who actually thinks one comment on here gives you the right to comment on my child you are wrong. My comment was only about wanting to read NEWS not POLICE BEATS if I wanted to read about these stories I would click on the Police beat section.

Totally agreed!

Why are we forbidden access to comment on the national news section?
Tom_Bom 1/20/2014 4:41:17 PM Report

Yeah... I'd expect to see actual local news in the news section instead of it being a local tabloid where we all gossip about people getting arrested for things that quite frankly don't belong in a news section.

Maybe it is so the more it is published the more aware of abuse is out there. maybe then the Courts and Government will wake up and come down harder on those that abuse our children. Unfortunately too many people do not care and that is why abuse continues around the world.
