Trailer stolen, and other thefts

On the 15th of January 31-year old Shawn Reedy of 86 Robin Street was arrested and charged with one count of theft under $5,000. 

It is alleged that the accused attended at the Walmart on Great Northern Road and left the store with $35 of unpaid merchandise. 

He was apprehended by store security and turned over to City Police. 

He will appear in court on the 24th February, 2014.

Last evening a homeowner on Leigh’s Bay Road reported that during the daytime hours a utility trailer was taken from the driveway. 

The trailer is approximately 14 by 17 feet in size and is enclosed. 

It is dark brown in colour with a side door and a folding down rear door.

A residence in the 1300 block of Wellington Street East was entered last night in the evening hours. 

A small amount of cash was taken.

The trailer stolen also was fully loaded with his bands gear worth 5x what the trailer was probably worth. That shouldn't be left out. Kind of important to know what was in the trailer at time of theft.

Wow...14ft wide trailer....must be a pain in the butt to get a special permit to get that on the road.
