Special weather statement for Greater Sudbury and vicinity - Manitoulin Island - Espanola - Killarney

Dense fog this afternoon.

Local icy conditions likely.

Light rain, drizzle and widespread fog are occurring over portions of Northeastern Ontario today.

Visibility can be near nil at times.

The fog is expected to dissipate this evening with the passage of a cold front.

In addition, icy conditions are likely.

Although temperatures have risen above the freezing mark, untreated surfaces may still be quite icy as the ground temperature may be below zero due to the recent cold spell.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution.
