Sault Ste. Marie's own MacLeod Highland Dance Studio will be holding its main fundraising event Saturday, January 25 at the Grand Gardens North (the former Riuniti).

The fundraiser is the Studio's annual Robert Burns Night, described by the Studio as a "traditional family celebration of the Scottish poet Robert Burns, filled with food, music and dance."

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., dinner is served at 6:30 p.m.

The dinner menu includes soup, pasta, roast beef, mashed potatoes, vegetables, bread, dessert, coffee and tea and, of course, traditional haggis!

Tickets are $32 for adults, $25 for youth from five to 10 years, with free admission for children four years old and under.

Admission is $25 for the Studio's highland dancers performing at the Robert Burns celebration that evening.

Everyone attending is asked to wear their tartan in a semi-formal or traditional way.

Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased by calling 705-255-0139.
