Thursday, December 19, 2013   by: Staff

On December 20, the Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie and District in partnership with St. Luke's Cathedral presents "Mistletoe and Holly," an evening of holiday songs and stories at 160 Brock Street, start time is 7:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at the door!

"St. Luke's will create the perfect setting for this magical performance of holiday favourites that will make even the Grinch smile and clap with cheer!" says Lisa Vezeau-Allen, executive director of the Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie and District.

"Mistletoe and Holly" features local performers and personalities including James Warner Smith, Ivor Tossell, and the St. Luke's Choir performing best-loved Christmas classics including "Deck the Halls" and "Away in a Manger."

"We are especially looking forward to hearing our own Mayor Deb reading 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' at this year's performance," says Vezeau-Allen.

To enjoy some of your favourite Christmas stories and songs while supporting local organizations, pick up your tickets for only $20 for adults or $10 for children under 12 at the Arts Council office, 104A-369 Queen Street East, St. Luke's Cathedral, 16 Brock Street, or the Box office in the Station Mall.
