Sault Ste. Marie’s high school hockey league saw its final two games prior to the Christmas break played on Wednesday afternoon and evening.
In the early game, Josh Fisher scored three times, including the game-winner in the final minute of the third period as the St. Saints beat CASS 4-3. Jonathan Colombi had the other goal for St. Basil in the win. Clancy Neal scored a pair of goals and an assist for CASS while Matthew Keenan chipped in with a goal and an assist in the loss.
The late game saw Jesse Dellavalle and Jason Uhl score a goal and set up two others each as the St. Mary’s Knights skated to a 6-1 win over White Pines. Erik Paradis and Jason Rowe chipped in with a goal and an assist each while Alex Morin and Michael Avati also scored for the Knights in the win. Brandon Solomon-Boissoneau scored the lone goal for White Pines in the loss.
