Seen Today: holding up the moon

A statue atop the John Rhodes Centre in Sault Ste. Marie is seen silhouetted against an almost-full moon on Monday December 16, 2013.

The full moon is set to appear the following day, December 17, 2013.

The statue is one of three figures, by sculptor Michael Burtch, which adorns the exterior of the John Rhodes Centre.

Awesome photo!! I wish that I had shot it myself! If you all knew how hard competitive swimmers train for such a gruelling sport, then you too would appreciate this photo, and you wouldn't nit pick about the statue looking naked! Give it a rest already! You sound shallow and ridiculous!! Some opinions don't always need to be heard.
