We tend to complain about our local, provincial and federal services/servants but this post isn't the case. My thanks to the officers involved for their hard work; great job. Let's just hope the lawyers and judges don't screw up like they usually do. If history repeats itself, as it tends to, we'll see these two again soon for similar reasons.

I guess my opening sentence isn't completely accurate.

Wow! Everyone was upset yesterday when that poor dog was shown starving to death, surely this one year old child deserves a good home as well as the animal. The child should be removed & adopted by family, or a good family of strangers. Great job in cleaning up scum!!!! Thank you.

COY 123 you must know them like I do ... and sam knows better .my concern is just for the BABY..
YourFutureNurse 12/14/2013 3:08:04 PM Report

Sam may know better but regardless of all this shes still an amazing mother and a smart girl. This is totally unexpected but it doesnt change the fact that she is one of the nicest girls you could ever meet. Everyone on here just jumps to conclusions "Oh drugs in the house? Must be a crackhead and a bad mother" which is not the case. God people, like youve never made mistakes!!!
onions 12/14/2013 3:19:05 PM Report

a mistake is forgetting to pay your hot water tank bill, or backing into a car in a parking lot by accident. Stealing boat motors, and consuming all these wild drugs, and no doubt an alcoholic, while in the car of a child is NOT a mistake. Give your head a shake!!
kingpin88 12/14/2013 3:26:27 PM Report

Sammies so innocent ya right when police find 7 different types of drugs and stolen property in your house either your blind or really stupid so i'll go with stupid since i wouldn't want a blind nurse around me. And if someone needs to defend her first slap yourself then her and tell her she needs to get rid of that loser Brent if she wants to start getting anywhere
Dani1984 12/14/2013 8:21:07 PM Report

To those ppl who have nothing but negative things to say about a situation you nothing about. I suggest you get your facts right before you judge. Start looking in your own back yard and paying attention to what need to be righted in your own lives before eagerly judging something you know nothing about. Both of these people are awesome parents. SO until you know what exactly happened maybe you should just focus on righting your own lives before judging others.

I find it interesting that she and one of her facebook friends were both charged for drugs at one point this year, and they're both in the medical field.

You might be a good mother, or a good friend to people -- but your actions define you. You get busted and publicized with drugs and distribution -- your personality and character don't equate to're a drug dealer.
mamachristina 12/14/2013 8:45:50 PM Report

Your right Dani how dare these people judge i hope one day karma bits them in the ass

I'm sorry, but being a good parent means being responsible and teaching your child(ren) the right things in life. Being a good parent means doing everything humanly possible to keep your wee ones out of harm's way. These 2 clearly did not do any of the above. Parenting is more than just food, a house and hugs/kisses. Exposing your child to anything in this article is neglectful and to be honest, disgusting in my opinion. I'm not claiming to be the perfect parent, don't get me wrong. But the parents here should have known much better.
mamachristina 12/15/2013 1:10:24 AM Report

you don't know the whole story you are just seeing part of the story and I think people should not judge anybody unless they where in someone life she is good mother she is even a better mother then I was her son was number one I am so proud of her so you dont know just what you are reading there more to this than you know so dont judge her please
Stugatzu 12/15/2013 12:22:09 PM Report

Oxycontin - isn't even legally available anymore, as they've replaced with a non-opiate version called Oxyneo. If you're getting busted with Oxycontin in your possession, everybody knows damn well what you were doing with them.

Anybody that had an Rx for oxys would have hand them swapped out, and all future refills would also have been the non-opiate version.
Working Man 12/15/2013 3:16:05 PM Report

I don't know these people.

But, there is no proof whatsoever that they consumed any of those drugs. Maybe Brent was selling them. There is also no proof whatsoever that this baby is malnourished. Assumptions, assumptions.

Most people cheat on their taxes which is also a crime and is more punishable than possession of a drug. Most women cheat on their husbands also, but thats legal so nevermind.

What a person does for a living doesn't have anything to do with who the person is. There are lawyers, doctors, psychiatrists, accountants, etc, that do questionable things and only 'act' like good nerdy people that care about people. What a person does for a living, doesn't tell you at all who they are.

I am against exposing your child to drugs also. I am against drugs in general. But, I never assumed that the child was exposed to the drugs.

A lot of couples have porn in the house. Does that mean they expose hardcore pornography to their toddlers??

There is also no proof that they are alcoholics. Things go all of a sudden from, 'he stole a boat motor' to, 'hes suffering from delerium tremons'. Tell me the connection there. Give your head a shake.

Backing into a car is not a mistake! If you do that, you should be banned from driving for life!

~* Us *~ 12/15/2013 6:22:31 PM Report

I never once stated that the child was exposed to the drugs. But every action has a consequence and the consequences are what that little boy was exposed to.

You can go ahead and defend them all you want but that won't change my opinion. I know them as well and that doesn't change the fact that what they allowed in their home was wrong.
