Sorry kids. No snow day today

Friday, December 13, 2013   by: Staff

Environment Canada reports all remaing snow squall warnings for the Sault and area ended at about 2:30 a.m. today.

Snow squall warnings for Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay and for Sault Ste. Marie - St. Joseph Island have ended.

"The weather conditions which prompted the snow squall warning have now ended or moved out of the area," says Environment Canada. "Winds have shifted to northerlies and the snow squalls have weakened and moved out."

We'll bring you news on the total snow accumulated during this early-December storm as it becomes available.
