9:38 p.m. Update

Greyhounds coach Sheldon Keefe was pleased with the third period tonight though he felt the fact that the Greyhounds have played five games in eight days in five different cities played a role in their effort tonight.

North Bay coach Stan Butler called the two shorthanded goals in the second period a major difference in the outcome of the game

9:15 p.m. Update

North Bay holds on for the 4-3 win...shots 31 apiece

9:10 p.m. Update

Greyhounds going all out, pulling Halverson with just over three minutes left in regulation time and down 4-3

8:55 p.m. Update

Blake Speers with a one-timer stick side on a feed from Kyle Jenkins from the slot. The goal chases Brendan O'Neill from the North Bay goal. In comes Jake Smith for North Bay...4-3 North Bay

8:50 p.m. Update

Jared McCann scores on a loose puck in the right faceoff circle after a shot by Kyle Jenkins doesn't get through to the goal from the left side....4-2 North Bay

8:20 p.m. Update

40 minutes in the books as North Bay holds a 4-1 lead thanks to a pair of shorthanded goals in the second period...shots are 25-16 North Bay

8:05 p.m. Update

Colton White has a loose puck get past him at the North Bay blueline, sending Barclay Goodrow in on a shorthanded breakaway where he beats Halverson stick side for the second shorthanded marker tonight...4-1 North Bay

8:00 p.m. Update

After a turnover in the Greyhounds zone by Jared McCann, Barclay Goodrow's shot from the left faceoff circle handcuffs Halverson and Jamie Lewis drives the net and taps in the loss puck for the shorthanded marker...3-1 North Bay

7:56 p.m. Update

2:11 into the period, Vincent Praplan hits Alex Henriksson going to the net for the easy redirection...2-1 North Bay

7:36 p.m. Update

Blake Speers at the top of the crease takes a feed from David Miller and slide the puck past Brendan O'Neil with 29 seconds left in the period...1-1 as the period comes to a close. Shots are 12-9 North Bay

7:22 p.m. Update

Barclay Goodrow slides a backhand five-hole on a breakaway on Halverson. Mike Amadio picks up the lone assists on the play...1-0 North Bay...Kyle Locke and Nick Pastorious fight off the next faceoff with Locke getting the decision

7:15 p.m. Update

Alex Gudbranson turns the puck over at the North Bay blueline and Matt MacLeod has a breakaway from his own blueline in on Brandon Halverson but can't get a clean shot off

7:10 p.m. Update

We're underway at the Essar Centre, North Bay playing their typical defensive style under Stan Butler, running a trap early on against the Greyhounds


Lineups are set. Scratches for the Greyhounds tonight are Andrew Fritsch (injured), Keigan Goetz and Brandon Hughes. The Greyhounds are going with 11 forwards and seven defencemen tonight with the injury to Fritsch. Out for North Bay tonight is Kyle Wood, Mike Baird, Connor Jarvis and Calvin Gomes.
