Grow into the New Year

SAULT STE. MARIE - The Art Gallery of Algoma is pleased to announce a call for participation in the Winter Festival of the Arts, an all inclusive community show and sale.

The theme of the community exhibition is 'Growth'.

As we discussed the theme of the Festival it became obvious to the AGA director, Jasmina Jovanovic, that growth is all around us - in our community, cultural institutions, the art scene in Algoma, and right here at the AGA.

The Winter Festival of the Arts is an all ages, all mediums show, and welcomes submissions from all community members in Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding region.

Download the form at and apply today!

Entry form with fee attached ($15) must be received by Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Art Gallery of Algoma, (10 East St., Sault Ste. Marie, ON, P6A 3C3 705-949-9067).

All visual art mediums will be accepted.

Please note the Art Gallery of Algoma has the right to refuse any submissions based on content we deem inappropriate.

Please include medium, size, title and selling price in the application.
