Red Skelton tribute back by popular demand

Good Night and May God Bless - A tribute to Red Skelton

SAULT STE. MARIE - Has there ever been an entertainer so dearly loved as Red Skelton?

Goodnight and May God Bless - A tribute to Red Skelton celebrates one of the world’s all-time great clowns in what would have been Red’s 100th birthday year.

In the artistic and magical hands of Tom Mullica, this superb one-man theatre show is a living, breathing tribute to Red Skelton and his clownish antics.

Tom Mullica’s Red Skelton show is critically acclaimed as “the funniest and most successful tribute show in America!”

His amazing transformation into America’s favourite clown, Red Skelton, takes audiences on a hilarious journey back to a time when families gathered around their television sets and shared in the joy of Red’s famous comedic characters such as Clem Kadiddlehopper, the Mean Widdle Kid and Freddy the Freeloader, to name but a few.

The gentle sweetness and improvisational genius of Red Skelton is faithfully captured, blending the Red-that-was while simultaneously inventing a Red-that-would-have-been.

Tom Mullica delivers an engaging, spot-on performance.

As part of this centennial celebration year, Goodnight And May God Bless will tour 31 Ontario cities during April and May of 2014, beginning in Sault Ste. Marie.

Goodnight and May God Bless - A tribute to Red Skelton appears at St. Mary’s College Theatre for two shows, April 1 and April 2, 2014.

Showtime is 7 p.m.

Tickets are available only at Stone’s Office Supply downtown on Queen Street.

Reserved seating is $37.50 plus taxes and service fees.

Saw him in Sault Michigan last February... it was well worth it if you watched Red Skelton.
