The Swamp Cats play a matinee at the Breakaway Bar and Grill, 68 Dennis St., from 3 to 7 p.m.

Al Mooney and Nick Porco play Misty's, 658-A Second Line West, from 4 to 8 p.m.

SteelTown Silver Band presents an evening of Christmas music starting at 7 p.m. at St Lukes Cathedral, 160 Brock St. Tickets are $10, children under 12 admitted free. For tickets, please call 705-759-4143 or 705-759-5039.

Lake Superior State University presents A Laker Christmas with The Soo Theatre Project, Inc. at 7 p.m. at the LSSU Arts Center in Sault Michigan. Come celebrate the holiday season with the LSSU Chorus, the Soo Theatre Orchestra, Flute Choir and more. Admission by donation.

Project of Heart Opening Gala at 180 Projects Gallery, 180 Gore St., kicks off at 7 p.m.

The Musical Comedy Guild presents Les Miserables at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre at 8 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the Station Mall Community Box Office.

Changing Lanes makes its debut at the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Road. Music begins at 9 p.m.

Haggith bids farewell with one last show at the Algonquin Pub, 864 Queen St. East, with special guests Strange Coyotes, Project 421, The Danger Cats, and Sykotyk Rampage. The show begins at 9 p.m. Admission is $5. You must be 19 or older to attend.

Lapdance Tiger and The Free Spirits play the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East. Show time is 10 p.m.

Two Buck Beers Band plays Docks Riverfront Grill, 89 Foster Dr., from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Jay Case performs at Loplops, 651 Queen St. East, starting at 10 p.m.

St. Joseph Island Free Methodist Church, 1589 Hilton Road in Hilton Beach, presents Christmas Through Joseph's Eyes, a re-telling of the Christmas story as seen by Joseph. The musical drama begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. Donations for Teen Challenge will be accepted.
