Snow squall warning upgraded from snow squall watch for Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay - Agawa - Lake Superior Park

Snow squalls from this afternoon through Friday.

Cold westerly winds over Lake Superior will generate intense snow squalls early this afternoon.

Snowfall accumulations of 10 to 15 cm within 12 hours may result in areas receiving near 30 cm by Friday morning.

Reduced visibility in snow and blowing snow will be accompanied with these snow squalls making travel hazardous.

The snow squalls may continue into Friday night.
