Hearst-area man killed in altercation. Police seek information

CONSTANCE LAKE - In the early morning hours of November 30, 2013, members of the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service (NAPS) responded to an altercation at a residence situated on the Constance Lake First Nation Territory.
Emergency services attended and located Fabian Bunting (shown), 35-years-old, of Constance Lake First Nation with no vital signs. 

At the request of the NAPS, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North East Region Crime Unit, and members of the James Bay Detachments, under the direction of Detective Inspector Peter Loree of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch were called in to assist in this death investigation.

Bradley Bunting, a 28-year-old male, from Constance Lake First Nation has been charged with second degree murder contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code.

The accused is being held in police custody and is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Cochrane on December 2, 2013.

A post mortem examination is scheduled for December 3, 2013. 

The investigation is continuing.
