A battle was waged at the Canadian Night Club last night.

To the victor went the opportunity to open for Bam Margera's F**kface Unstoppable on Saturday, December 14 hosted by Johnny Pints Presents.

Three local bands - The Bear Hunters, Punch, and North West - fought for position, with the Bear Hunters (pictured) edging out the others to take first place as decided by audience ballots.

While local metal fans are likely familiar with the Bear Hunters, last night's showcase was the public performance debut for both North West and Punch.

The Bear Hunters weren't the only winners last night, however, as Christine Purvis walked away with a Destroilet/Jack Spades merch pack door prize.

Tickets are still available from the Rad Zone in the Wellington Square Mall or the Knights Inn front desk for the Bam Margera F**kface Unstoppable show at the Canadian Night Club on December 14.

General admission tickets are $25 each, VIP tickets are $40.

In addition to the Bear Hunters, supporting acts include Wilson, Jack Spades, and Destroilet.

Doors open at 8 p.m. and you must be 19 or older to attend.
