$180 OFSC Permit Targeted to Grow Support for Snowmobile Trail Network

With the Farmer’s Almanac forecasting a snowy, cold winter for Ontario, the Sault Trailblazers are looking forward to another winter season of snowmobiling and are encouraging snowmobilers to support the local trail system by purchasing a 2014 OFSC Seasonal Snowmobile Trail Permit.

The Club is pleased with the approval by the province that provides the opportunity for snowmobilers to purchase a full season OFSC permit for a reduced fee of $180 if purchased on or before November 1, 2013.

The early bird pricing represents a 30% discount from the full season price and a great value for the coming winter season.

This limited time offer is only available for permit transactions completed online at www.ofsc.on.ca.

The Club is hopeful that this offer will encourage new and former riders to purchase a seasonal trail permit and provide much needed support for the local trail system.

“With a decline in permit sales over the last few seasons, the trail system is in jeopardy of closing within the next few years should we not gain the support of the local snowmobilers” said President Garnet Greenwood.

We would like to avoid similar trail closures that have occurred within Communities from White River to Thunder Bay.

The Sault Trailblazers is a local volunteer not-for-profit group that maintains a network of organized snowmobile trails for the safe enjoyment of local and visiting snowmobilers.

The Club thanks the many snowmobilers who support the trail system with the purchase of a trail permit each year.
