Helping the true north stay strong in end of life careTuesday, October 08, 2013 by: SooToday.com Staff
As reported earlier by SooToday.com, the Northern Credit Union held a community barbecue to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Second Line branch.
Monies raised that day was earmarked for Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH).
Recently, at the Second Line branch, Northern Credit Union presented a cheque for $2,000 to an ARCH representative.
The Ontario Credit Union Charitable Foundation and Northern Credit Union matched the funds raised at the barbecue bringing in a tidy sum for ARCH's efforts to provide compassionate end of life care, free of charge, to anyone who needs it.
