Join the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre (SSMIC) on Tuesday, October 1, for a half day workshop on "Optimizing your International Marketing Strategy.” Hear from Steven Donald and Ulrich Hammerschmidt of i2i Associates, an Austria based information communications technologies (ICT) organization, and develop successful approaches for sales and marketing in international markets.
During this interactive session, Steven and Ulrich will discuss:
- Globalization of your product at all levels of marketing
- Strategies for using Social Networking as a global marketing tool
- Global marketing techniques and best practice

Over the past 20 years, Steven Donald, a Canadian entrepreneur and consultant, has lived in Austria, Canada, Germany, Finland and Thailand, and has conducted business extensively throughout Europe, North America and the Middle East working in innovation, brand equity, and the telecommunications industry. Most recently, at Deutsche Telekom, he has been instrumental in bringing innovative solutions and products to the global market.
Ulrich Hammerschmidt is one of the founders of i2i associates. Over the past 15 years, he has worked in leading IT and telecommunication companies, including Deutsche Telekom, Telecom Italia, and Telekom Austria, with a strong focus on global business development, transformation and strategic C-level partnerships. Previously, he held marketing and sales management positions in international companies in industries related to food, retail, and electronics.
