As the cold winter months approach us, the food bank and soup kitchen at St. Vincent Place are collecting food donations to it’s food bank and soup kitchen services.

Big Blue Box Drive 2013, a food drive for the food bank at St. Vincent Place.
Saturday, September 28, 2013. Please place all food donations in blue boxes, or any box and place curbside before 10 a.m.
The Sault Ste. Marie Community, with donations going to the St. Vincent Place Food Bank and Soup Kitchen, 222 Albert St. East, Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
This annual event is aimed at stocking the shelves of the food bank for those who use the services throughout the year.
With the help of this year’s sponsors CTV and Green For Life, the drive is aimed at continuing to provide food to individuals and families that are in need for the winter months.
On average, the St. Vincent Place Food Bank assists over 2,000 families per year.
St. Vincent Place operates a twice-weekly food bank as well as soup kitchen services, both being held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
