The Soo Greyhounds opened the new Ontario Hockey League season on Saturday night.
Just 24 hours after having their opener in Sudbury postponed due to fog at Sudbury Arena, the Greyhounds handed the Wolves 10-3 loss at the Essar Centre Saturday night.
Jared McCann and Sergey Tolchinsky had big nights offensively in the win.

They looked a lot faster than last year. We need Nurse back to run our power play. He was injured last night, but did come back and play. It looked like a neck injury which caused his arm to go numb. The trainer was checking his neck over on the bench. An injury like that could cause vertebral dissection, which can lead to a stroke. He should be sent back to the Greyhounds before he gets hurt more seriously.
