Crystal and Shane want you to take a Coffee BreakThursday, September 19, 2013 by: SooToday.com Staff
The Alzheimers Society for Sault Ste Marie and Algoma want to remind you that today is Coffee Break day!
Over 400 individuals, local organizations and businesses across the city are hosting Coffee Break events to raise money for vital programs and services.
Country Style on Trunk Road and Pino's Get Fresh (pictured above) are among local businesses participating this year.
Country Style is donating proceeds from coffee sales this morning to the program, as shown by drive-through worker Crystal (top) while Pino's is selling Coffee Break decals which are posted on the wall behind Assistant Store Manager Shane Bellini (bottom).
You can personalize the decals with your name or the name of a loved one.
You can also get involved by hosting your own Coffee Break event at your home or workplace.
Events are also scheduled at local churches and schools in the area.

No donation is too big or too small for a cup of coffee and all money donated goes towards those services and programs in the Sault Ste Marie and Algoma region.
The effects of Alzheimers disease and other dementias affect almost 2,500 people in our area.
It is never too late to host your own event, contact the Alzheimer Society for details at 705 942-2195 or www.alzheimeralgoma.org
